Thai massage was likely developed by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, physician to Siddhartha Gautama, more than 2,500 years ago in India. Thai massage today can be described as assisted yoga, where the therapist performs passive yoga-like stretches and movements on the client. Our Thai massage style, Northern Style, originated in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is a gentle form of Thai massage, when compared to the more aggressive Wat Pho style.
